I am an stone carver, artist and illustrator based in North Oxfordshire.
My highly intricate paintings are, predominantly, based on architectural form. Because of this fascination with architecture it seemed the logical choice that, having come to the decision to return to education, stonemasonry would be the chosen subject.
One of my stone sculptures was accepted for the Worshipful Company of Masons’ annual exhibition while a level 1 student and three were accepted for this year’s exhibition.
I was also commissioned to illustrate a book of poetry by the performance poet Heather Wastie and also illustrated and formatted a book of comical recipes, written by folk singer the late Judy Dyble.
My architectural paintings, and their unique style, fascinate and engage – from my unique portraits of private houses, to my architectural studies of villages, towns and cities; my most challenging being an architectural study of Tokyo, commissioned as a gift for a Paralympian, competing for Team GB.
